MURDER MYSTERY

In a murder mystery simulation,  teams are given the role and each characters background is shared. Participant within team can take up each character and discuss possible motive of each person that could be behind the murder, or team may choose alternate strategy to find out. In our particular setting teams are given new sets of investigation files after each round , basis which teams need to submit their suspected murderer. The goal is to find out who killed the victim by interrogating other players and testing their theories.

While there are many different variations on the format, some games may only have one detective while others may have many. The murderer is usually determined ahead of time so that they can determine who will get caught or escape in advance. The players then partake in trying to figure out who committed the crime with deductive reasoning, being careful not to give themselves away as the murderer or detective!
