Tambola

Tambola game is a commonly played game across country and globe.
A caller will call out a letter or number at random, and then players will mark that space on their card if that letter or number has been called. The winner is the first person to have five in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
The cards are usually sold with an electronic device for calling out numbers randomly; this device is often called a “Bingo machine”.
The name of the game has become generalized to any type of game where players need to be alert for when something happens. For example: “He was waiting for someone to say ‘bingo’ so he could yell ‘I win!'”
