Overview

Releasing and letting go is an important part of life.

Releasing and letting go can be easy to say, but hard to do. It doesn’t matter what’s being released or let go of, it can be as simple as a bad habit or something more significant like a relationship. Regardless, the process is the same–a person has to accept that change is inevitable and that they have no control over it. They should also develop tools for self-soothing in order to deal with pain or sadness that may accompany the release or let go process.

When a person first starts releasing and letting go, they should start with small things like habits or material belongings–the less invested they feel in something, the easier it will be to let it go. They should also remember not to force
